I focus on creating a relaxed session where your family can simply be together, so the images reflect who you really are. Whether it's a quiet moment between siblings or the happy chaos of little ones being themselves, those are the photographs you'll treasure.
With more than 15 years behind the camera, I started as the "dad with a camera" documenting my own girls through recitals, games, and everyday life. That same instinct for capturing real moments is what I bring to every family I work with.
I photograph families throughout Snohomish, Skagit, and Whatcom counties, in local parks, at the beach, or in my in-home studio.
What to expect
Session length: As long as you need! My sessions are only limited by the time you want to put into them. I keep them relaxed and carefree. Want multiple outfits? Sure! Multiple locations? We can make it work!
Where we shoot: Local parks, the beach, your home, or the in-home studio
What you get: A personal gallery viewing and print-selection appointment; professional, heirloom-quality prints and wall art (purchased separately, so you only pay for what you love); and a free, social-ready digital copy of every image you choose to print
Turnaround: After the session and photo selection process photos can take a few weeks from editing to print. Times will be provided once we have selected the your photos and prints.

Common questions
What should we wear? We can discuss this at booking. I tend to suggest similar themes and color pallets versus completely matching identical looks.
How do you handle young kids who won't sit still? Movement is fine! We will work together to get the best photo possible in the moment. Whether you have a squirmy little one or a little grump who doesn’t want to participate. The moment is what matters and we can make the most of it!
